We’ll be honest: as professionals, it’s embarrassing that we have to mention this part of the industry. But. We run some of the largest free events in the Northern United States, and sometimes you run into people who just have to tear others down. And we finally have to talk about it a bit.
Apparently, if you mention you’re going to these events, or possibly if you just look them up, you’ll find some absolutely gross allegations about the event, the people who go, and, presumably, everyone who has ever met any of these people.
WE actually very seldom hear about these things. People approach our venues, they approach our vendors. But they seldom have the courage to tell US what they’re accusing us of.
We’d like to make a simple point:
If you hear something horrible about us, ask us about it.
Don’t be worried. Feel free.
There has not been ONE police allegation against us. Really. We don’t even usually hear the RUMOURS about us for several months.
You can contact us any time via our contact page. We’d genuinely love to hear from you.
Otherwise, we recommend you treat the rumors as what they are: rumors. Unfortunately, anyone can spread rumors…and some people do.
